I stayed for 3 nights as a solo traveler and loved how close the location was to my job and nearby stores, which was super convenient. However, the noise from the people above me walking around was quite bothersome. The staff was accommodating during my visit, which made things smoother despite the few hiccups.

If you're staying here, request a room on a lower floor to avoid long stairwell climbs. it’s quite a trek with luggage.

convenient location, nearby Tex-Mex restaurant, easy access from freeway
The hotel could benefit from some serious cleaning, especially the carpets!!! The pool area looks like it hasn't been tended to in ages, giving off a very uninviting vibe. Fixing the room amenities should be a priority!!!

convenient stay with some room for improvement
The location of the hotel is excellent , very close to local attractions. I appreciated the charm of the older building , which gave the hotel a unique character. The staff were friendly and accommodating , making the check-in process quick and easy. The pool area is quite nice , and it was a relief to cool off there after my travels.
The overall maintenance could use some attention, especially in common areas.

It was just a perfect match for a whistle-stop in Cedar Hill with good price-value balance. The pool area was something we really enjoyed, perfect for cooling off after a long drive, though it could use a cleaning. Bring your own snacks, as dining options are limited and breakfast is very basic.
